How It Works

Format

The EWC will labeled as an A-tier tournament for Season 1 due to the structure of the format. It will also have 2 Sell Tokens, so use them wisely.

Opening Stage:

• Single-Elimination bracket
  • All matches are Best of Three (Bo3).
  • Winners advance to the Playoffs.
  • Losers proceed to the Play-In Stage.

Play-In Stage: (Note: Play-In Stage will not be counted in this fantasy league)

• Single-Elimination bracket
  • All matches are Best of One (Bo1).
  • Winners advance to the Playoffs.

Playoffs:

• Single-Elimination bracket
  • All matches are Best of Three (Bo3).

This fantasy tournament encompasses both the Opening Stage and the Playoffs, providing ample opportunities for strategic gameplay.

Scoring System and Phases

Point System

Points are awarded based on your players’ in-game performance:

• Kills: (Total / number of rounds) x 10
• Assists: (Total / number of rounds) x 6
• Deaths: (Total / number of rounds) x -4
• KD-rating: 0-4 points
  • 0.8< = 1 point
  • 1< = 2 points
  • 1.25< = 3 points
  • 1.5< = 4 points
• Winning a match series: 2 points
• Losing a match series: 0 points

Example: If a player scores 11 points in map 1, 12 in map 2, and 9 in map 3, they receive (32/3) = 10.7 points plus their average KD rating and 2 extra points if their team won.

Fantasy Phases

Building Phase:

• Experiment with different player combinations before the first match.
• Lock in your team once the first game goes live on 17th July.

Edit Phase:

• Change your captain or use Sell Tokens when no matches are live.
• Schedule your captain changes via the timeline.

Game Phase:

• Cheer for your players as they compete and earn points.

Captain Feature

Boost your player’s points by 50% by assigning them as your Captain. You can swap Captains daily during the Edit Phase, but remember, you lose your swap for the day if your Captain starts a match series.

Captain = 1.5x bonus points

Sell Tokens

Players have 2 Sell Tokens to use throughout the tournament. Use Sell Tokens during the Edit Phase to sell and buy new players. Refunds are at the original purchase price, and points from sold players remain in your score. Note the max 2 per team limitation.

Tips for Newcomers

• Analyze Stats: Look at player stats and recent performance to make informed decisions.
• Strategize with Captains: Use the Captain feature wisely to maximize your points. Plan your Captain swaps carefully.
• Smart Use of Sell Tokens: Save your Sell Tokens for critical moments when you need to make strategic changes to your team.
